Meet Pam

Howdy compadres! I want you all to meet my friend, Pam. She has been on the Tiny Tails team since its beginning. She loves kids' books, yoga, and of course bearded dragons!

Pam grew up in the Mid West , traveled around Europe and hung out on the beach in Florida (I love the beach, too) for a few years before getting a degree in studio art at a small college in Nebraska.  She moved to Austin in 1997, just days after getting married, and has decided it's the longest, coolest honeymoon ever!

Where did you grow up?

I am originally from Rapid City, South Dakota, although I've now lived in Austin longer than I lived in Rapid City!

Tell us about your life motto.

"In moderation, Pam!"  My mother used to say this to me before I would leave the house as a teenager (ouch!) and it drove me nuts at the time, but now I see the wisdom in moderation.  Eat mostly veggies but definitely have some bacon, enjoy loud rock concerts but also Zach Theater musicals, hike the mountains in Colorado but also swim in the ocean, sing silly songs with kids and also find time for quiet meditation and yoga. I need a little bit of it all to feel nourished and balanced.

When did you start at Tiny Tails to You?

I have worked with Tiny Tails for almost 10 years, and have never met a bearded dragon I didn't like.

What are some other cool things about you?

I am a certified yoga instructor (follow me on Facebook and Instagram) and a mom to three teenage boys.

What are some of your favorite things outside of Tiny Tails to You?

I love tattoos, great music to dance to, family movie night, my three sisters.
